The material analysis of automobile sealing strip is as follows:
1. Epdm rubber. Ethylene propylene diene ternary rubber (EPDM) is composed of ethylene and propylene monomers and a small amount of non-conjugated diolefin. With excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, ozone resistance, uv resistance linear and good processing performance and low compression permanent deformation, is the preferred material for the production of sealing strip.
2. Polyvinyl chloride. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a traditional general-purpose plastic, which is greatly improved by modifying its aging resistance and rubber sense. However, due to its poor elasticity, it is mainly used as a clamping material for inner and outer strips and some sealing strips.
3. Thermoplastic elastomers. Plastic elastomer material (TPE/TPV) is a material developed in recent years. Its structural characteristics are composed of plastic and rubber. However, due to its poor elasticity, large compression permanent deformation, immature technology in the manufacture of spongy, and high price, its consumption is greatly limited. At present, the main part is used for the manufacture of window side strip and window guide slot.
